Featured Impact: Funding the Library

The Friends of Ingraham have supported the library program immensely, and in so many ways! With FOI funds, we have purchased:

  • Supplies to color code and organize the library fiction section by genre! This project was completed last year, and it is now much easier for students to find a book they want to read.

  • We have also received funds to purchase manga and graphic novels, which make up 33% of book check outs so far this year! Students love reading manga and graphic novels, are continuously recommending series to buy, and asking for the next volumes in their favorite series.

  • Students are currently helping the library pick out World Languages books for purchase, which will be bought with an FOI grant we received in October.
