Featured Impact: October Grant Cycle 2023

Every year FOI runs four grant cycles where Ingraham staff submit requests for funding for various needs and programs. Our first 23-24 cycle was at the beginning of October, and we received more grant requests than we EVER have before! Thanks to our generous community, we were able to fund twenty-three requests this cycle -->

  • Online class assessments for AP Calculus

  • Safety signage for 135th

  • Wellness & Belonging signage for campus.

  • Nutritional support for staff meetings, professional development events, and student testing 

  • Graphing calculators to support math students.

  • PE Department equipment including pickleball/badminton nets, soccer goals, badminton rackets, volleyballs, gym locks

  • College visit trip to CWU for 42 Latinx Club, BSU, & Proyecto Saber students & chaperones

  • Graphic novels, manga, world language books, and book club support for the library

  • Snacks, school supplies and art supplies for Familias Latinas Parent Group and Proyecto Saber

  • Display board for internships and job opportunities for Career Center

  • Registration fees for the National High School Ethics Bowl

  • Art with Heart journals for students participating in grief support groups.

  • Graphing paper for math students

  • New orchestra bells for music program

  • Books for 10th grade Language Arts Book Circles Unit
