Each year through our IHS Community Grants program, Friends of Ingraham manages multiple grant cycles.

In the 25-26 school year we will have 3 cycles - October, January, and April. Teachers and staff are encouraged to submit grant requests which are evaluated by the FOI Board and Principal Elvig, and then voted on by FOI Members.

The Community Grants are entirely funded by donations from IHS families and community members.

Last year we awarded more than 50 grants totaling ~$60k to support and enhance the experience of students and staff here at Ingraham. Some examples of funded requests in the 2024-2025 school year include:

- Cameras for a popular photography class

- IB Math Analysis & Approaches exam preparation books

- Recovery beds for the nurse’s office

- Supplies for chemistry experiments

- Electric keyboards for piano class

- New literature for language arts classes

- Mariachi band trip to eastern WA

Nutritional support during test taking and special events

Your support provides the funds for all of these important resources and activities for our students and staff!
