In-person tutoring: Are you interested in helping students with homework support? You do not need to be a subject matter expert or experienced teacher! Sometimes students just need help organizing their work, or somewhere quiet to do their homework after school. If you are available from 4-5 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays please consider signing up here

Bright Futures donation pickup from University District Food Bank (Thursday afternoons): Looking for a simple way to make a big impact? Bright Futures is looking for people to pick up food donations from the Food Bank and bring them to IHS on Thursdays. For more details and to sign up for slots, click here

IHS Library in search of volunteers! Are you a book lover, organizing enthusiast, or creative person who wants to help out 2-4 times a month? Maybe one of these jobs is for you! Contact Betty Brennan (bebrennan@seattleschools.org) if you are interested in helping out with either of these Library volunteer gigs:
Library display creator and shelf organizer: Assist library staff in creating fun and appealing monthly displays, organizing and neatening the bookshelves, and returning books to their right places using the Dewey Decimal system. 2-4 times per month, at a mutually agreeable time. Library materials processor: Use the library catalog software to add items to the database, assist with adding barcodes, book jackets and labels to library books and textbooks.
