IPAB: News, volunteer and concert/ play schedule


We need to fill some board positions for next year! This is an incredibly rewarding program to support, and we can't do it without you. The approximate time taken out of your life is listed below each description.

Secretary: The Secretary is responsible for keeping a record of board actions including overseeing the taking of minutes at all board meetings, sending out meeting announcements in conjunction with the communications chair and distributing copies of minutes and the agenda to each board member.

2 hours per month including meetings

Fundraising Chair: The main function is to run our fundraisers. We have 3-4 per year, the largest being our Student Showcase in the spring.

4-5 hours 2-3 times per year, more for student showcase, plus monthly meetings.

Volunteer Coordinator: The Volunteer Coordinator manages the volunteer outreach in order to help IPAB's concerts and fundrasiers. The primary duty is to determine what the needs are for each event and utilize Sign Up Genius in order to recruit volunteers.

2 hours per month (including monthly meetings)

Communications Chair: The Communications Chair coordinates the dissemination of IPAB related information to its members. They manage the email list, take the lead on managing social media posting, coordinate with the FOI Communications Chair, and maintain communication with the Ingraham High School administrative staff.

3 hours per month including meetings

Band Liaison: coordinates with the band Teacher to assist with band-related activities. They represent band at the monthly IPAB meetings and advocate for band-related needs by coordinating with the Volunteer Coordinator, the teacher, and the Communications Chair. They also play a lead role in managing IPAB support at band concerts (getting the snack table set up, keeping track of the money, clean up afterwards

1 hour per month for meetings plus 3 hours for concerts
