Exchange students!

Hello, I am a Local Coordinator for Greenheart Exchange, and I help place exchange students with American host families in this community. I thought this group would be a great way to connect with community members who may be interested in hosting. COVID-19 has had a negative impact on community, learning, and cultural exchange.  We are navigating through many new challenges, but we are committed to placing the students who have still chosen to come. We all know that their school year may look different from typical years. However, the bonds that host families and students create will still happen. The memories will still be made. Now more than ever, cultural exchange is important not only for the viability of continuing these programs, but also because it is one of the best ways to build diplomacy between countries and dispel prejudices among people.
